One Stop Shop

I have fallen in love with this website! Black Wagon is my new one stop shop. It has clothes, shoes, bedding, bags, furniture and skin care. Are you kidding me. I love this alphabet poster above the most! The simple designs on the shirts are nice too. Like I said, a nice all around shop stop.

Lisa Leonard ruined Father's Day!

I know that is a very harsh subject title but I am VERY angry at Lisa Leonard Designs right now. On their web page it states that it takes 2-3 weeks to create your jewelry, then they will ship it to you and send you an e-mail so you can track it. I ordered my cuff on May 18, and still have yet to get an e-mail saying that it has been shipped. I ordered this piece for Dave for his first fathers day with PLENTY of time for them to create it and get it to me. So, I e-mailed their customer service and they said it should ship out in the next day or two. I e-mailed them back asking if it would be here in time for fathers day. They responded no, they did not think it was going to make it here by then. That is when I got really upset. I called and told them if I did not have it by fathers day then I did not want it at all. They e-mailed me back saying they were sorry for the delay and they would be happy to cancel my order. I asked them not to because I really REALLY wanted to give Dave that cuff, I put so much thought into it. I the got yet another e-mail back saying that they are sorry again and my cuff should be shipping out in the next couple of days.  ?  ?  ?  ?   Didn't you just e-mail me 4 days ago and say it would ship out in the next day or 2???? I am SOOOO angry right now! I can't even believe it. I want to bash them so bad and tell everyone to never order from them, but I won't, because I still love their jewelry. But I will say this, if you are ordering something from Lisa Leonard online and need it at a certain time, I would make sure to order it MONTHS in advanced. Then that way, you MIGHT have it by the time you need it!
But like I said, I still love these necklaces from her and wouldn't mind having one of my own.

Send Off

Last weekend I threw my best friend her bachlorette party in Springfield, Missouri. We started with wine and appetizers, then we opened up her sexy outfits. Not sure what she will need all that lingerie for on her 6 month climbing trip, but she is stock full now. After the sexy wear, we went to Trolly's on the square. Sat outside and people watched. There was a concert type thing going on across the street so we got to hear some great live music. After Trolly's, we went to a club called Zen, which in my opinion was lame. Our waitress, who was 6 months preggers, said that it was slow because it was summer, but I'm not sure. Afterwards we hit Ernie Biggs. Things got crazy there, but we got home at a decent time. I can't believe how old we are getting. Anyway, we had fun and I'm glad I got to have one final night out with my girl!

WTF?

I'm driving in Liberty a few weeks ago and pull up behind a car with this on it's bumper. WTF? I don't think I even get it. I mean I support our soldiers over seas, but that is their choice to join our armed forces. Is that the only reason they joined? Was so other kids could party? I don't think so. They join to protect our country. I understand that this blog is completely controversial and it's not suppose to be. I just find this bumper sticker a little offensive.
