Now that it is getting cold out again, and the washing machine ate my comforter, we have been looking for a new bedding set. I love these from Pottery Barn. I looked into buying this green one above, but of course it was on sale and they were sold out of the king size. Boo!

I love love love these shoes from See Kai Run. I have never seen anything quite like them and they are so unique. When Emery gets old enough to wear shoes, I just may have to splurge on some of these shoes.

So, if you are ever cutting up some onions, make sure you have some minty gum handy!
This picture does not even begin to show how sad I am that I am finally going back to work today. Don't get me wrong, my job is great, but I have been at home for 6 weeks now with baby Emery and I really do not want to leave her. I barely slept last night and now here it is, 5am and I'm up for the morning trying to make sure the babysitter has everything and I have everything to get me through this awful, terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!
Can you believe that in Houston, TX they dyed a fountain blood red as a promo for Showtime series Dexter. If you have never heard of Dexter, it is in a nutshell about a cop who is a serial killer. I know it sounds twisted and it kind of is but I love Dexter and watch it every Sunday night with my husband. I would have loved to see some fountains here in KC dyed the blood red for Dexter. I wonder if we would if he ever came to KC?
So I turned 24 this month and for my birthday my Dad got me a Columbia zip up fleece in ivory! There were lots of different colors to choose from and my husband warned me that white/ivory was not a good choice because I tend to get things on me a lot, but I did not care. So Sunday night my Dad gave me my fleece and I was so excited! I wore it first thing Monday when I was going to run errands and low and behold....I got some pink ink on it. It came out though =)
