In Loving Memory

Today marks the 6 year anniversary of the death some good friends. Around this time I always get a little depressed and start thinking of my friends a lot and that horrible day. I miss them dearly and wish I could talk to them everyday. It's hard to write a blog about this because I just don't really know what to say. So here it is, I miss my friends very much and think of their families all the time.

Beautiful Baby Search

This is the picture I chose to send in to Regis and Kelly's Beautiful Baby Search. I don't think that pictures do Emery justice though. I love this picture of Emery though because it is funny and she looks adorable in her little pink coat. I wanted a picture that really stood out from the crowd. If Emery wins she will get $125,000 towards a 4 year college education! And even if she is one of the runner ups, there is still a prize for money towards college or a nice supply of Gurber food which of course is nice. I'm not sure if you can only enter a child once so if you have a cute picture of Emery and want to enter her has well, you can do so here.

And the award goes to....

I'm not too much of a fashion girl, but I do like to judge what the stars where to award shows. So during the Golden Globes last night, I fell in love with some dresses and accessories that I just had to look up this morning.

Eva Mandes' wore this BEAUTIFUL turquoise necklace that made my jaw drop! I loved the color and the diamonds!
Rumer Willis was Miss Golden Globes and even though her Reem Acra dress was on the "worst dressed" list, I really liked.
I really like the top neck part of this apricot halter dress that Demi Moore is wearing. It reminds me of my bridesmaids dresses kinda....not really.
Another necklace that I loved was the Lorraine Schwartz necklace that Christina Applegate wore. Again, BEAUTIFUL!
I think Jenna Fisher looks a little underdressed for the Golden Globes, but if I could pull of this Zuhair Murad dress, I would totally wear it!

Can I resist??

I know she would only wear them for a few months, but how can I resist these adorable Ugg booties?! I can only assume it is a sign that the style is called "Erin". Plus, they are only $40 on eBay!

Tea anybody?

I found this great baby brand called tea and fell in love with their dresses! I'm super excited to have some weddings to go to this summer so I can buy Emery one. I love the Molfrid Floral Flutter Sleeve Dress....and it's on sale!!!

Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009

So it's a new year and I thought I would share with you some of my fav. pics from 2008. It was a pretty good year, ups and downs. But it started out right, finding out I was pregnant, and ended right, finally having Emery join us. Enjoy!
